All I can day is wow. I'm in my 50s and I am listening to this for the first time and I am extremely impressed. I don't know how I've never heard of this talented band. Better than anything AC/DC has produced in my opinion. Two thumbs up 👍👍

Well, you see how the magic of the 60s & 70s gets spread to enthuse new minds. Well done for doing so. I'm 76 years old and at the time of this album's release, I was working at a privately owned 'Record Bar' (that's what record stores were called in those days), owned by one of the sharpest & most aware music minds in Durban South Africa, a lady called Pat Brent, who zeroed into the really great bands of that time & there were many & imported their albums independently, to wizen us up. Dave Edmunds, this guitarist was a real talent of the 60s, whose style was influenced by, amongst others, Eric Clapton's playing style of his appearance on the famous John Mayall & the Blues Breakers album, featuring Eric. It was known as 'the Beano album', as Eric was seen reading a Beano comic on the front sleeve pic. That album is still a marvel to this day, with Eric playing blistering licks. It also featured 2 future Fleetwood Mac musos on drums (Mick Fleetwood) & Bass (John McVie). Go check that album out as well. We are all here to 'spread the Gospel of Good Music'. Let's do it 😊

Im the former owner of Billingsgate Records and i released LF's first 4 albums i personally paid to record Banquet We sold 50,000 copies of LF's first album and Billboard refused to chart it. Most radio stations refused us airplay and finally a dirty distribution deal with Sire (Passport) records killed all of my bands Epitaph, GuruGuru, Grobschnitt, Pazoo from Belgium and others. We were not a part of what some others started to call Kraut Rock. Billingsgate was all about quality.
